VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Join our team and take part in our mission to empower older adults, adults with disabilities, and their care partners to live to their fullest potential. The Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) is seeking an energetic full time (40 hours per week) Volunteer Coordinator/Administrative Assistant who will assist with recruiting, interviewing, and referring older adult volunteers to community organizations, including SMAA, to help address priority community needs. In addition, the Coordinator provides ongoing support to the Director, volunteers and participating organizations where they are placed to assure a meaningful experience for the volunteers. The Coordinator will assist with a wide variety of administrative & clerical tasks, including maintaining efficient office procedures, preparing documents using Microsoft Office, retaining files, fulfilling information requests, photocopying, filing, processing mail, inventorying & ordering office supplies.
Currently, due to COVID-19, this is a hybrid position.
